what is Regenerative Agriculture
Regenerative agriculture creates a healthy soil, promotes biodiversity, and is profitable. We follow a method that encourages life in and on the soil, and with that foundation, we produce healthy products. The method operates based on five fundamental principles:
- Minimal mechanical and chemical soil disturbances.
- Maximum soil coverage.
- Diversity of plants and nature.
- Encouraging the growth of plants for as long as possible.
- Integrating animals into the system.
What could be more enjoyable than stimulating the lives of plants, animals, and insects and being able to produce beautiful and healthy products?
Additionally, it offers benefits such as CO2 sequestration through the buildup of organic matter in the soil and improved soil and plant water management.

Since 2018, we have been striving to improve the soil, stimulate biodiversity, and build a profitable operation through a regenerative approach. In this way, we aim to make a positive impact on nature. A healthy soil yields healthy products. The plant and soil are one entity.
We believe that a healthy soil is also a solid foundation for a financially sound business. There are many things we still need to learn and figure out, and we document this knowledge and the experiences we gain to share with those who are interested.

the environment
We live in the Achterhoek, one of the many beautiful places in the Netherlands. The surroundings feature a picturesque landscape with original hedgerow forests, estates, and farms.
Many hedgerows, hedges, and original landscape elements still exist. It’s a beautiful and diverse landscape with both large-scale and small-scale agriculture. Due to the varying composition of the soil, there is also a diverse landscape of plants and trees. We are based in Baak, located in an area where the IJssel River could overflow during high water levels in the past.
The land we use consists of light river clay or loamy sandy soil and is mineral-rich. The area is ideal for a bike ride or a walk.
