Sowing the crops seems to have worked out well. Despite the fact that most of the seeds are not sown in the ground, but on the ground, germination seems to have gone well. According to research, in addition to moisture, the presence of the right soil fungi and bacteria is particularly decisive for the success of a germinating plant. According to the soil analyses, the activity, soil life and the fungus and bacteria ratio has increased. Hopefully that will also have the desired effect on my sown crops. By sowing the crops immediately after rolling the green manure, the plots have remained almost permanently green and there is therefore almost continuous sunlight and therefore carbon in the form of energy in the soil. This is a good sign, because it is not artificial fertilizer, but carbon (energy) that is the driver of soil life and therefore the nutrient cycle in the soil.

The winter barley is already coming up nicely. The slower germinating plants such as clover, cornflower, poppy, garlic without garlic, ribwort and the evening cuckoo flower will start to emerge as soon as it gets warmer. Hopefully next spring will be a sea of flowers again.
